MAD is currently enjoyed by those who have Symbian-based mobile phones only. But, by mid-year, MAD would be compatible to 75 percent of mobile Operating System available in Indonesia. GOMOBILE plans to get one million members within this year.

MAD Is Written in History

He emphasized that MAD, which is created 100 percent by Indonesians, has made history since it is the first media which combines mobile news and mobile marketing in such an innovative way that brands now have the ability to know precisely who are the target market and communicate with them one by one (One Cast).

"I believe MAD has made history in Information Technology in this country and bring more benefits for telephone celular users," said Tifatul who was accompanied by FX Ridwan Handoyo of the Indonesian Association of Advertising Agencies (PPPI), Vinchy Cuyegkeng of Nokia Interactive Asia Pacific, Krisetiadi Purwanto of Nielsen Company, and three GOMOBILE's key people Hilmi Panigoro, Bobby Arthawan, and Thomas Setiawan.

As a new media, MAD has many advantages. One of the them is the use of biometric data taken from iris scanners to verify its members. GOMOBILE is the first company in this world which uses the tecnology in advertising. Supported by advance Artificial Intelligence and Iris scanning system, MAD is able to accurately identify its members accordance with their demography and psychograpy.

This system would create a fixed profile of all MAD's members without any replication. This is why MAD becomes the one and only media in the world that provides One Cast (one-to-one news and advertisement distribution in mobile news and marketing.

Meanwhile, The Chairman of PPPI Jakarta, Irfan Ramli who attanded the press conference of Grand Launching MAD at Times Square, Grand Indonesia, was very proud of MAD. He was sure that MAD would become digital media that can support conventional advertsising media such as television, printing media, and so on.
